One of World of Warcraft's most popular expansions, WOTLK has been revered by the gaming community since its release in 2008.
With its iconic character in Arthas, the Lich King, the expansion not only gave fans of the MMORPG a new look at the Warcraft story, but also brought the game's first hero class: the death knight.
Wanting to hit the nostalgic button more for WoW players, as well as keep WoW Classic going, Blizzard Entertainment seems to have started polling their fans for a possible "classic" version of Wrath of the Lich King.

In a Reddit thread by user Chadwiko on the official WoW Classic subreddit, it was revealed that some members of the community had received an email survey about potential WoW: Wrath of the Lich King Classic issues.

Chadwiko claims that their guild members "received a survey email from Blizzard," which was very terse, asking if it was "possible" to play the "classic" version for Wrath of the Lich King.
Additionally, in the comments, another Reddit user named Falconmick revealed that they had more questions about the possible new expansion.

Blizzard seems to be interested in a possible Wrath of the Lich King classic expansion update.
The first question asked players if they had played Wrath of the Lich King on the first release, while the second measured their level of "interest" in the "classic" version of the game.
