It is difficult to really know who lied. I guess time and posterity should vindicate the innocent.

On the notion advance by the presenter that the jury is trained or taught not to be dazzled by "a beloved character", I don't believe that crap. Biases and inclination have always been known to interfere with the best sense of human judgement hence the true saying "We all look at the same things, but perceive them differently". Perception is the Key..
